The Fragrance Shop has announced record Christmas trading with a 6.3% increase in continuing sales over the 9 nine weeks ending 3rd January 2026 compared with the same period last year.
The announcement highlights strong consumer demand, premium trading and increased loyalty trading to the UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer.
Additionally, the retailer recorded its largest ever Christmas Eve, highlighting consumer confidence in The Fragrance Shop for last-minute purchases and premium fragrance advice on the most critical trading day of the year.
This festive season saw standout launches from premium fragrances including Prada Paradoxe and YSL Libre, alongside continued momentum in luxury led by Tom Ford and the expansion of the Private Blend collection, which underpinned this year’s strong sales.
The retailer also reports increased brand loyalty, with the MyTFS loyalty programme delivering a 48% year-on-year increase in new member sign-ups.
Sanjay Vadera, CEO of The Fragrance Shop, says: “This has been a record-breaking Christmas for The Fragrance Shop, driven by the exceptional efforts of our teams and the strength of our proposition across stores and online.
“The performance on Christmas Eve in particular demonstrates that customers continue to value the high street when it delivers experience, expertise and genuine assurance. We continue to see strong customer appetite for premium fragrance, gifting and loyalty-led.
“As we build on this momentum, we remain focused on investing in our digital capabilities, expanding our store estate and delivering a consistently outstanding customer experience,” adds Vadera.
